This has been a great program so far. I have converted a few movies with no problems, but I have run across a DVD that, the conversion gets about half way through, then it quits...says that it has converted, which the first half of the movie is, but not the 2nd half.

I downloaded and ran the dvd to droid converter and tried using it on my Cars DVD (got three kids I need to entertain!) It went through the conversion,I plugged in my droid 2 and it copied to the dcmi folder, but when I go to play it on either the video player that's on the phone or on Act 1 Video player, it just says there is an error and it can't play. I doubled checked and it is saved as crz0nnw7.mp4, so not sure why it won't play.

First of all, this program is fantastico. When paired with QQPlayer, I get perfectly smooth video with audio perfectly synced. Love it. So, my questions are: 1) I ripped a Rush video and the volume is so loud and distorted that is sounds like the levels are "maxed out." I ripped both the Dolby and PCM audio tracks with the same result. Any thoughts? 2) It would be great to be able to compress a movie that's already ripped to a folder, when the disc isn't present. I have folders of movies (VOB files, etc) that we have purchased and stored for when my 4 y/o destroys them, we can "print" another copy. I'd like to let him watch them on my phone, but I'd have to burn to disc, then rip with DVDtD.

This worked great for my Droid 2, but will this work on a Droid Eris? It can't find the phone when I plug it in.

Jim,
The converter already forces the volume up as high as it can. I know what you mean, when I was first making the program, the volume was really low on the converted video. After forcing the converter up as high as it goes, it helped but some videos were still pretty quiet.

would it be very difficult to adjust the volume louder when converting? When I watch a movie at the gym, I have a difficult time hearing low conversations... I have tried good headsets.... Thanks for considering this if it is possible...

quick questions for you guys........some of my recent rips are getting cut short. DVDtoDroid suddenyl ends the conversion process and says it is complete......well, they aren't. I have had a few where the last 15-20 minutes of the dvd are cut off! Any ideas?
