The iPad is a marvel of mondern technology. When it first came on the scene folks didn’t really know what to think of it. Is it a laptop?, or a Phone?. Turns out it is a great in between device.

One thing I really enjoy with my iPad is watching movies. I use it to watch streaming video with Netflix, and recently just ordered a video off the iTunes app directly from my iPad.

It was easy to do, just hop in the iTunes app and search for the movie that I wanted. The movies have comments and ratings, so you can easily see how others rated the movie. The actual rental of the movie was a breeze, just choose the movie and confirm my iTunes password.

If your internet connection is good enough, you can start watching the movie after a little buffering. In my case, I let the whole movie download to the iPad, and can watch the movie later – up to 30 days later. After that it won’t be available to you anymore. Once you start the movie, you will have 24 hours to watch the entire movie, so make sure your ready to watch when you start it.
